SelfSet ™
FOUR KEY POINTS FOR A SUCCESSFUL LABELER!!
The Four Most Common Labler Problems Are:
(1) Incorrect operator set-up
(2) unreliable electronic controls
(3) label wrinkles and
(4) poor labeling accuracy.
CVC SelfSet™ labeling machinery provides the following unique features to eliminate these
problems.
1. CVC SelfSet™ - No Operator Adjus™ent is required for the Product Sensor or Label Sensor.
The CVC SelfSet™ labeling system provides the optimum sensing position for every label length and container
length or diameter, eliminating the need for moving the product sensor or label sensor. Other labeling machines
consume much time and require expert adjus™ent when changing labels or containers.
2. Only CVC's SelfSet™ Control System Synchronizes Speed for ALL moving parts.
Whenthe first product passes the product sensor, theCVC SelfSet™ microprocessor will scan and
identify the product length or diameter and label length. The labeling position, dispensing speed and
label protrusion position are set and synchronized. It takes only three seconds to complete the
procedure. This is very beneficial when changing bottle and label size.
Only one pass through of a new container allows the system to quickly "read" the bottle and set up
speeds for all motors. Product labeling speed may be immediately increased or decreased at a single
touch.
3. Automatic Adjusent™ of Label Sensor Prevents Wrinkles and Misfeeds.
The SelfSet™ labeling system automatically calculates the optimum sensitivity and label placement without
moving the label sensor! NO more short feeds, wrinkles or multiple label feeds because of improper sensitivity
settings!
4. Easy Job Memory for Immediate Setup of all Moving Parts.
Save up to 50 jobs into memory locations and recall them at the push of a button. If it is a new job, just run
SelfSet™, then save it!
CVC's high response frequency encoders with microprocessor control provide wrinkle-free labeling.
The LCD Display shows all automatic settings.
SelfSet™ automatically generates all initial settings of motor speeds, label stop position, and bottle
application "timing" by use of encoder technology. Press only one button to increase or decrease
labeling speed. All motors are synchronized to provide constant labeling accuracy.
SelfSet™ also displays "Product Output" and "Labels Remaining".
"Low Label Alarm" -
(1) Sounds short warnings when the quantity
of labels remaining falls below 500.
(2) Sounds long warnings when the quantity
of labels remaining falls below 200.
Stainless steel frame plus components of stainless steel, aluminum and plastic are standard.
Modular design is used for interchangeability of components.
CVC Technologies' manufacturing process is ISO 9002 certified.
Labeling Accuracy: 1/32 inches.
Available with high speed hot stamp printer (C60); maximum printer speed up to 300 impressions per minute.
Auto adjustment of Label Position ( U.S. Patented )
Auto adjustment of Label Sensor ( U.S. Patented )
